How to Pair a Superlink to a J-150 or J-70 Controller
1. Confirm the controller is already paired to the drone 0:10
- Start on the controller and confirm it shows System Ready.
- This indicates the controller is already paired to the drone and is ready for the Superlink setup.
- Next, navigate to the Device page to begin the Superlink pairing process.
2. Open the RTK Station page on the controller 0:17
- On the left side of the Device page, scroll until you find RTK Station.
- Select RTK Station to access the pairing options for the Superlink.
- Keep this page open while you power on the Superlink.
3. Power on the Superlink 0:37
- Locate the Superlink device.
- It should be off at first.
- Long press the power button to turn it on.
- Once the LEDs begin to light up, short press the power button again if needed to fully start it.
4. Wait for the Superlink LEDs to indicate readiness 1:06
- Pay attention to the three LEDs on the Superlink:
- Drone
- RC
- Satellite
- At first, the RC light may show red, which means the Superlink is still starting up.
- Wait until the RC, drone, and satellite LEDs are flashing green before continuing.
5. Put the Superlink into pairing mode 1:39
- Once all required LEDs are flashing green, long press the power button on the left side of the Superlink.
- The RC LED should change to flashing green and red, which confirms the Superlink is now in pairing mode.
6. Start pairing from the controller 2:02
- Return to the controller’s RTK Station page.
- Tap the Connect button on the right side of the screen.
- When prompted, select Confirm to begin pairing.
- The controller’s pairing indicator should start flashing green and red.
7. Wait for the controller and Superlink to connect 2:16
- Allow the controller time to search and pair.
- Pairing can take 1 to 5 minutes.
- If successful, the controller will connect to the Superlink automatically.
8. Use Fast Align if pairing does not complete 2:38
- If the controller does not pair right away, tap Fast Align at the bottom of the screen.
- This forces the controller to cycle through the pairing frequencies again.
- Confirm the prompt if asked, then wait for another pairing attempt.
9. Verify the connection was successful 3:25
- Once paired, the device serial number will appear on the right side of the screen.
- You should also see an activation status at the bottom of the Device page.
- These indicators confirm the Superlink is connected to the controller.
10. Set the Superlink to base station mode 3:37
- The Superlink is currently set to base mode, so you need to enable it for use.
- On the same Device page, scroll up to the Base Station section.
- Select J-Link.
- This enables the Superlink to act as a base station so you can continue flying with it connected.
