Accelerometer error on the EAV J150 and J70, and what to do to get your drone back in the air.

With This Error, your drone will NOT be able to take off. This error is cleared by an accelerometer calibration, which your dealer performs for you.

The accelerometer is part of the flight controller's inertial measurement unit. It reads the aircraft's orientation and movement relative to gravity, and the flight controller depends on those readings to hold the drone level and stable in flight. When the accelerometer values fall outside the accepted range during the startup self-check, the flight controller reports the error and blocks takeoff rather than flying on readings it cannot trust.

The error commonly shows up after a hard landing, a heavy impact, transport over rough ground, or a large swing in temperature between where the drone was stored and where it is flying. It can also appear after the drone has been powered on while being moved or while sitting on an unstable surface. Nothing is broken in most cases — the sensor has drifted and needs to be re-referenced.

Contact your dealer to resolve this error. The accelerometer calibration is not part of the standard calibration options in the remote controller menus, so it is not something you can complete on your own in the field. Your dealer has access to the calibration and can perform it for you.

Do not attempt to fly the aircraft with this error active, and do not repeatedly power cycle the drone hoping to clear it. Powering off and back on will not correct a drifted accelerometer, and continuing to try adds wear without fixing the underlying reading.

Once your dealer completes the accelerometer calibration and the error clears, the drone will be ready for takeoff.
