Air in pump or the manual relief valve not tightened

Air has gotten into your system and will need to be relieved.

Cause:

  1. There's air in the tubing. Clear trapped air.
  2. Incorrect tips selected.
  3. Fracture in a spray component causing air to get in.
  4. FIlter at the bottom of the tank is clogged.
  5. Nuts on the hose need to be tightened.
  6. Hole or kink in tubing.
  7. Not all the tips are on.
  8. Oil needs changed in the pump.

Diagnosing:

  1. Inspect the spraying system for any of the imperfections mentioned above.
  2. Try clearing trapped air

Solutions:

  1. Needs to have air cleared (hold down spray button till process starts)
  2. Change tip selection
  3. Tighten nuts
  4. Replace tubing
  5. Replace pump if pulling air due to fracture.
  6. Replace solenoid if pulling air here due to fracture.
  7. Change oil in the pump.

Conclusion:

Air can get in the spray system many different ways so it is important you pay attention to where you are seeing bubbles in line. Finding if the bubbles are before or after the pumps can help you determine which area of the spraying system is the issue. Look for the bubbles first as it can help find the trouble area faster.
