Battery authentication failed

Cause:

1. When the battery communication is abnormal, the flight control system cannot read the encrypted authentication information of the battery.
2. It is a new battery which was not encrypted before leaving the factory.
3. The battery is stuck inside, causing the authentication to fail.
4. Issue is on drone side

Diagnosing:

1. Restart Drone and RC
2. Try a different battery
3. Check ports on the battery as well as the drone for corrosion. 

Solutions:

1. Clean ports
2. Replace faulty battery. 
3. If the problem is on the drone side, replace the power distribution board. 

Conclusion:

Typically the issue is the battery, and occasionally can be an issue with the drone.
