Battery authentication failed
Cause:
- When the battery communication is abnormal, the flight control system cannot read the encrypted authentication information of the battery.
- It is a new battery which was not encrypted before leaving the factory.
- The battery is stuck inside, causing the authentication to fail.
- Issue is on drone side
Diagnosing:
- Restart Drone and RC
- Try a different battery
- Check ports on the battery as well as the drone for corrosion.
Solutions:
- Clean ports
- Replace faulty battery.
- If the problem is on the drone side, replace the power distribution board.
Conclusion:
Typically the issue is the battery, and occasionally can be an issue with the drone.
