Battery Care
Follow these guidelines to ensure you properly care for your lipo batteries while not using them for a prolonged period of time. Failure to do so can result in loss of warranty.
- Store in a clean and dry area away from where accidental damage can occur.
- Do not stack batteries while charging.
- When placing the battery down in a location, do not put it on metal or on conductive objects, to prevent short circuits.
- If the battery needs to be stored for a long period (more than 3 months), the battery is best if placed in an environment with a temperature of around 70 degrees, and charging is required at least once every 3 months.
- Charge batteries to 110v then hover the drone to drain the battery to 5%. Then charge the battery on 110v to 100% and allow the battery to self-discharge over the next 10 days to 60%.
- The battery must be charged to 40%-60% during storage. If the battery is stored at a low or high battery level, the battery may be swollen or the battery cell may become damaged.
