When entering K values in the Advanced Settings in the Weight Sensor settings the numbers do not save or reset to different values after leaving the screen.
Cause:
- The weight module has gone bad.
- A bad weight module can cause the values to get deleted or change when you try to enter them on the drone.
- The spray module has gone bad.
- The spray module is the central module that controls all spraying related functions on the drone and if there is an error within the module it can cause the K values to be unable to save.
Diagnosing:
- The error occurs when you enter in your K values correctly and the numbers change or turn red when you reenter the screen.
- This can also be seen by the drone not being able to tare or calibrate the weight sensors.
Solutions:
- Replace the weight sensors.
- This is the most likely culprit when diagnosing this issue and a bad weight module will make the K values not enter into the system.
- Downgrade and Reupdate firmware on the aircraft.
- When the aircraft updates sometimes this can cause issues due to improper downloading. Downgrading and reupdating the firmware will redownload the newest firmware and quite often will fix software bugs.
- Replace the spray module.
- If the previous two solutions do not fix this issue that narrows it down to it being a physical issue within the spray module.
- For T30/T10, replace the weight collection board.
Conclusion:
The K values on the weight sensors are the preset amount the weight sensor is off so if you do not have the correct K values in your system or have not entered them after replacing the sensor it can cause your system to be off or not calibrate correctly.
