Front Binocular Vision Blurred

Make sure to clean off the front binocular vision in case it is dirty.

Issue:

Make sure to clean off the front binocular vision in case it is dirty. It is common for the drone to receive this error and the binocular vision is actually fine and this error is just appearing as a software bug.  This is usually a software bug that has no effect on the drone and the user can keep flying. Obstacle avoidance will continue to work as it is designed to do.

Cause:

  1. The front binocular vision is dirty.
  2. Flying into direct sunlight
  3. This is caused by some sort of bug in the software.
  4. Faulty vision calibration

Solutions:

  1. Clean off the front binocular vision sensors.
  2. Change your flight direction to avoid direct flights into sunlight.
  3. The issue can be resolved by downgrading and upgrading firmware.
    1. It won’t always solve the problem, and may just continue showing
  4. Perform binocular vision calibration using the PDF in the knowledge hub.

Conclusion:

Most likely this is a software bug but it is a good idea to go ahead and clean off the front binocular vision sensors just in case. This will not affect the drone and the user should not be worried about it if the sensors are clean and it appears the radar and obstacle avoidance appears to be working. Downgrading firmware and upgrading will sometimes get rid of it but isn’t something that is very important and the user should continue spraying/spreading.
