How to Update the DJI D12000i Generator Firmware

Updating:

1. You do not need your generator to be running to update the charger firmware.
2. Take a USB to USB-C cable and plug it into the USB port on a T40 controller and the USB-C port on the charger.
3. From the home screen of the DJI App on the controller, click the drone icon at the top of the screen to bring up the device information page.
4. Wait for a drop down to appear on the “Charging Device” icon.
5. Select the drop down and select the newest firmware version for the charging device.
6. Click update at the top of the screen.

If you do not have a T40 and still need to update the D12000i generator click the link below on a computer and download DJI Assistant 2 for MG.

1. Plug the charging device into the computer with DJI Assistant 2 already open on the screen.
2. The program will automatically detect the charging device.
3. Select the charging device and go to the firmware tab.
4. Select the newest firmware version and hit update.
5. Leave the charging device connected to the computer until the update has finished.
