Aerial Electronics Module Swap
Repaired outside of Agri Spray Drones:
- If the aerial electronics module is swapped outside of ASD, you will need to contact the tech support department. We will need the drone owner's name, email, address, phone number, and serial number of the drone, as well as the serial number of both the old and new aerial electronics.
- Your drone will be locked if you do not provide us with this information to change in the DJI system.
- You will also need to switch the Remote ID number with the FAA. See attached link below.
- PDF with information regarding Remote ID and what to change on the form.
RID Serial Number Change form.docx.pdf
- Form to change and submit to FAA.RID Serial Number change form only.docx
- You will also need to go into FlySafe and switch over your FC serial number (Remote ID) if you plan on flying in airspace that is geo-unlocked.
- The drone will still fly without doing this, but if you ever want to fly in a geo-locked zone, you will need to switch over this information.
- The FC number is your flight controller number that can be found by clicking on the aircraft in Device and Apps.
- The drone will still fly without doing this, but if you ever want to fly in a geo-locked zone, you will need to switch over this information.
Repaired in House:
If your drone was repaired at ASD we will have switched your serial number in DJI system already. You will need to go and change your remote ID and your flysafe account. You will use the same information above.
