Autel Evo Max4T XE Speed settings
Max4T's 4 speeds settings
The EVO Max provides four distinct speed modes, each optimized for specific flying conditions or pilot needs:
-
Slow Mode:
Limits horizontal speed to around 6.7 mph with a maximum tilt angle of about 10°. Designed for precise control, beginner pilots, and close-up filming, this mode ensures stable, smooth, and cautious flights. -
Smooth Mode:
Allows speeds up to 22.4 mph, with drone tilt angles reaching roughly 20°. Ideal for filming cinematic footage, Smooth mode balances steady flight control with enough responsiveness to maneuver comfortably around obstacles. -
Standard Mode:
Enables higher speeds, reaching up to 33.6 mph forward/backward and 22.4 mph laterally, with tilt angles of around 30°. Suitable for general flying, inspections, and standard missions, this mode provides a good balance between agility, responsiveness, and obstacle avoidance safety. -
Ludicrous Mode:
Provides maximum drone performance, reaching speeds up to 51.5 mph forward, 40.3 mph backward, and 44.7 mph laterally, with tilt angles up to approximately 35°. In Ludicrous mode, obstacle avoidance is disabled, so it's intended for experienced pilots who require rapid, agile responses during high-speed flights.
You can easily change between these flight modes through the Autel Enterprise App by selecting Menu → Settings → Flight Mode, or simply by tapping directly on the flight mode displayed at the top right of the main flight interface.
