      Autel Evo Max4T XE Update Files

      Autel Evo Max4T XE update files for manual updating the drone and the RC

      EVO Max Manual Firmware Update Instructions
      (For use when automatic update fails)

      🚁 Manual Firmware Update for Aircraft

      Preparation:

      • Make sure the aircraft battery is fully charged.

      • Verify your current firmware version: Go to App > Settings > More > About.

      • If updating to v1.8 or higher, ensure both aircraft and RC are already on v1.7 or above.

      Manual Update Steps:

      1. Download the correct aircraft firmware file (e.g., ModelX-Vx.xx.xx…) onto your computer.

      2. Copy the firmware file to a microSD card.

      3. Power on the aircraft and wait about 30 seconds until the LED finishes flashing through three colors.

      4. Insert the microSD card into the aircraft slot.

      5. The LED will begin flashing rapidly — this indicates the update is in progress.

      6. Allow 15–20 minutes for the update to complete.

        • If the LED continues to flash green and blue, the update is still running.

        • If the LED flashes red slowly for more than a minute, the update failed.

      7. When the LED turns solid, the update is complete.

      8. Power cycle the aircraft and confirm that it connects to the RC and shows the new firmware version.

      🎮 Manual Firmware Update for Remote Controller (RC)

      Preparation:

      • Make sure the RC battery is fully charged.

      • Check your RC version under Settings > About phone.

      • Use only a USB drive for the RC update (microSD cards are not supported).

      Manual Update Steps:

      1. Download the correct RC firmware file (e.g., RC79.Autel-Vx.xx.x…).

      2. Copy the file to a USB drive.

      3. Turn on the RC and wait about 1 minute for it to fully start.

      4. If RC version < v1.8:

        • Open the Enterprise App.

        • Insert the USB drive, and when prompted with “New firmware detected,” select Confirm to begin the update.

      5. If RC version ≥ v1.8:

        • Simply insert the USB drive; the RC will start the update automatically (no need to open the app).

      6. The power indicator will flash during the update process (about 15–20 minutes).

      7. When the light stays solid, the update is complete.

      8. Restart the RC and confirm that it’s running the latest firmware.
