Creating a New Field - HD408 Auto Steer System
Follow these steps to create a new field on the HD408 System
1. Introduction to Fields 0:01
- Fields in the HD408 Auto Steering System save heading directions via AB lines.
- These saved fields can be reused as needed
- Navigate to the upper left-hand corner of the screen.
- Press the button labeled 'Field' to access the field menu.
- Click the green button at the top that says '+ Field' to create a new field.
- Enter a name for the new field
- Select the implement
- Optionally, add notes about the field (e.g., client, farm, field).
- Press 'OK' in the bottom corner to save the new field.
- Once guidelines are created, they will be saved and displayed based in the selected field.
- To switch fields, click the 'Field' button again to access the menu.
- Select the desired field from the list.
- Press ‘Job Continue' to load the field
- Note: Once connected to satellites, your RTK state will be fixed, and you can view your A/B lines based on the selected field and guidelines.
