A step-by-step guide to creating a plot and exploring the features you can use!
1. Accessing the Flight Screen
-
Press the "normal" button to enter the flight screen.
-
Open fields by clicking the arrow on the right side.
2. Creating a New Plot
-
Select "plot" at the top.
-
Input a name for the plot.
-
Choose the slope type:
-
Flat Field: Commonly used.
-
Gentle/Steep Slope: For extreme slopes (limits flight speed).
-
-
Indicate if there are power lines in the field (limits speed if yes).
-
AB mode operation: Click yes if using AB lines
-
Select crop type:
-
Type in the crop or choose from the menu (e.g., corn).
-
3. Selecting Point Type
-
Access point type options:
-
Boundary point
-
Circular border
-
Normal obstacle
-
Circular obstacle
-
No spray zone
-
-
Demonstration: Select "circular border" and align crosshairs to create the boundary.
4. Fine Tuning the Boundary
-
Adjust the radius (e.g., 500 feet) and reposition the boundary using arrows.
-
If not using a circular boundary, delete it and select "boundary point" to plot the field boundary.
5. Adding Obstacles
-
Click the survey button to edit the border.
-
Add obstacles:
-
Select "normal obstacle" and follow instructions.
-
Add points for the obstacle (e.g., a tree).
-
Finish adding the obstacle.
-
-
Repeat for additional obstacles.
6. Adding Non-Spray Zones
-
Select "non spray zone" and add points similarly to obstacles.
-
Save the plot after adding non-spray zones.
7. Flight Planning
-
Decide whether to save the plot for later or operate now.
-
Adjust route spacing
-
Set a start point outside the field boundary.
-
Configure advanced settings:
-
Boundary pass options
- Boundary Pass, Boundary Only, or No Boundary
- The reference boundary is used to adjust the flight route heading to align with the boundary line.
-
Auto spray settings (spray on corners or not).
-
Shrinkage options for borders (individual or all borders).
- Hit New Operation
-
8. Final Step
-
Confirm the new plot is created and ready for operation.
