      Creating A/B Guidance Lines - HD408 Auto Steer System

      This article outlines the steps to create A/B guidance lines in a new field with the HD408 Auto Steer System



      1. Choose a Field 0:01
          • Press the 'Field' button on the left side of the screen to access the field menu.
          • Create a new field or choose a previously created field from your list and press ‘Job Continue.’

      2. Access the Guide line Menu 0:35

      • Click the 'Guide line' button in the upper right corner of the screen.

      3. Select Guidance Line Type 0:45

      • Press the white '+' button to add a new guidance line.
      • Choose a line creation option from the dropdown menu. 
      • 'AB Straight Line' and ‘AB Parallel Curve’ are most commonly used

      4. Set New Point A 1:03

      • Press 'New Point A' to set the starting point of your guidance line.
      • Drive the tractor forward in the field in the desired direction

      5. Set New Point B 1:18

      • Drive to an acceptable point in the field.
      • Press 'New Point B' to set the endpoint.
      • Name the like and press ‘OK.’

       

      6. Start Auto Steering 1:26

      • Click 'Start Auto Steering' to begin following the newly created guidance line.


      7. Create Additional Guidance Lines 1:49

      • To create a new guidance line in the same field, repeat steps 2-6.


      8. Switch Between Existing Guidance Lines In a Field  2:05

      • Click the 'Guide line' button in the upper right corner of the screen. 
      • Select the desired guidance line from your list
