      DJI Relay Activation How To


      1. Check Firmware Compatibility

        • Ensure both the controller and the drone are on the latest firmware.

        • Check for firmware updates in device management.

        • Look for the DJI relay box to confirm compatibility.

      2. Activate and Turn On the DJI Relay

        • Ensure your drone and RC are linked.

        • Power on the relay by pressing and holding the power button.

        • Wait for the two rectangle lights to turn red, indicating full power.

        • Link the relay to the controller by pressing the linking button on the controller and holding the power button on the relay.

        • The relay will enter linking mode to connect to the controller through frequency pairing.

      3. Activate and Update the Relay

        • Once linked, click on activate to confirm the connection.

        • Check for any available updates in device management.

        • Select the relay and click on update.

        • Ensure the controller and relay have sufficient battery levels for the update process.

      4. Completing the Update

        • Download the update from the internet and transmit it to the relay for installation.

        • Ensure both the controller and relay have battery levels above 50% for the update to proceed.

        • Once the update is completed, the relay will show as connected and updated on the controller screen.

      5. Final Steps

        • Verify the serial number and firmware version of the relay for confirmation.

        • The activation and update process for the DJI relay is now complete.
