This is a general short overview of how to clean and store your drone after spraying.
Drone Cleaning
- Spraying System
- Fill the tank with water or soapy water, press the spray button, turn spray rate to max using the left dial, allow the drone to spray out the entire tank.
- Doing this 3 times is recommended
- Remove tank strainer, nozzle strainers, and nozzles and clean to remove any blockage
- Allow to soak in clean water for 12 hours

- Drone
- Recommended to clean at end of day after spraying is completed
- Allow drone to cool down before washing
- Power off drone and remove battery
- Allow the drone to dry completely before reinstalling a battery.
- Allow drone to cool down before washing
- Use water from hose (not pressure washer) to rinse
- Use rag or small brush to get stuck on grim
- Wipe dry with clean rag or towel
- Recommended to clean at end of day after spraying is completed
- Motors and props
- Use wet rag and wipe dust or pesticide off
- Use dry rag to dry
Controller Cleaning
- Use a clean wet cloth, that has be rang out, and wipe controller and screen
- Dry with dry cloth immediately after.
Storage
- Prop folding
- Fold props and use holders to protect props from swinging and chipping
- Arm Folding
- Fold arms fully into arm holders to keep arms from opening
- Freezing temps
- Recommended storage temperature when tank, flow meter, pumps, and hoses are empty is between -4°f and 104°f.
- Store drones in environment that will prevent liquid in lines and pumps from freezing
- We spray windshield wash (for freezing temps) through the system as well as store in a heated room when it is close to freezing temperatures.
