EAV Drone Battery First Charge Procedure
The J150/J70/J100 EA Vision drone battery first charge procedure requires pairing the remote and limiting the charger to 3,000 watts for the initial charge only — after which normal settings can be restored. This is to rebalance the cells in the battery and assist with battery health.
|
⚠ IMPORTANT — First Charge Only Before charging, the remote controller must be paired to the charger and the output reduced to 3,000 watts. This is required for the first charge of each battery only. After the initial charge is complete, normal wattage settings may be restored for all future charges. |
|
STEP 1 — Pair Remote & Set to 3,000 W 1. Power on the charger before inserting the battery. 2. Confirm the remote controller is paired to the charger. The pairing process is identical for the J70, J100, and J150 — see RC Bluetooth Pairing Guide if not yet connected. 3. Using the remote, set the charger output to 3,000 watts. 4. Insert the battery into the charger. STEP 2 — Monitor Charging 5. Watch the battery LED indicators during the charge cycle. 6. When all four green LEDs are lit, the battery is at ~95% and automatically enters small-current (trickle) charging mode. 7. Do not insert or remove the battery while the charger is powered on. STEP 3 — Confirm Full Charge & Disconnect 8. Charging is complete when the charger shows a solid green light and all four battery LEDs display solid green (100%). 9. Disconnect the battery. 10. If all LEDs flash rapidly at any point, disconnect immediately, let the battery cool, then retry. Never use a damaged or swollen battery. |

Note: When below 30%, green lights flash in a cycle. At 95%, all green lights are on (small-current charging state). When fully charged to 100%, the charger fan stops operating. After charging is complete, disconnect the battery from the charging device.
