Encrypted Media Protection with your Autel Evo Max4T XE drone
Encrypted Media Protection settings and how to
Encrypted Media Protection
The EVO Max includes built-in media encryption to protect your mission data. By tapping the Security button (lock icon) on the main flight screen, you can enable password protection for all photos and videos. This ensures that even if files are downloaded to a computer, they remain locked and unreadable without authorization.
Encrypted files remain protected even after being transferred to a computer—they cannot be viewed or accessed without first being unlocked through the remote using the correct password.
⚠️ Important: Once a file is unlocked on the remote, it is permanently decrypted and can no longer be re-locked. Only unlock files when you're ready for them to be accessed or shared.
This feature is ideal for inspections, law enforcement, and other operations requiring secure data handling.
