T50 Drone ESC Inspection Guide

  1. Power On Drone

    • Ensure the drone powers on properly.

    • If not, it could indicate an ESC short.

  2. Power Cycle

    • Power cycle the drone to confirm proper functioning.

  3. Remove ESC

    • Unplug ESC from the drone and motor.

  4. Inspect ESC

    • Thoroughly check ESC for:

      • Damage to the body (cracks, scorching).

      • Damage to the light cover (cracks, water damage).

      • Moisture behind the plastic cover.

      • Corrosion on plugs.

  5. Replacement

    • Replace ESC if:

      • Body is damaged.

      • Light cover is damaged.

      • Moisture is present.

      • Corrosion is found on plugs.

  6. Maintenance

    • DJI recommends replacing ESC every 700 hours of flight.
