Generator Won't Connect to Controller
An overview of how to troubleshoot the connection of the generator to the T40 RC.
- If the charger lights up but won't share information with the RC.
- The charger lighting up is an indication that the connection between the RC and the charger is established.
- Not sending the information through the cable means that the cable being used is just for power and not for information signals.
- Use the DJI cable for the connection from the USB-A port of the RC to the USB-C port on the charger.
- If the charger gets no lights and shows no signs of being connected at all.
- Make sure the cable is the compatible DJI cable.
- Make sure the ports on the charger and RC are clean and free of corrosion.
- Move the cable around in the port of the charger lightly to see if it is loose or if connection can be gained from repositioning.
- Clean the port on the charger gently with a small amount of contact cleaner and a small pick.
