HD 408 Auto Steer stuck on “System Restarting” during Quick Calibration

If your system is not progressing past the “System Restarting” pop up on the last tab in Quick Calibration, you may need to allow more time, verify gyro orientation (if applicable), or verify “Fixed” RTK state.

To ensure all steps are followed, restart the calibration process.

Go to “Settings” and select “Quick Calibration"

1. Measure your machine and installed autosteer components based on the relevant diagram. Input these parameters. Ensure proper units of measurement are selected (Inches or CM). Units can be changed in system settings. Accuracy is key!
2. If the gyro sensor has been installed on the front steering axle, confirm the gyro orientation and enter it. This is essential for proper calibration. If you have chosen not to install the gyro sensor, select “NONE WAS.” (Gyro recommended for use at operational speeds 6 mph +)
3. General mode should be selected. This is ideal for most operations. 
4. On the Steering Parts Choice tab, select “Motor 5” when prompted
5. Drive machine to a flat, open area to complete the “Initialization check”.  Avoid any tall obstacles in a 100yd radius. Wait 10-15 minutes for the system to restart. Do not touch the screen or move the tractor.
   1. The “System restarting” pop up will disappear once the next calibration step is available. 
6. Complete the calibration driving process as prompted. 
7. Once complete, the system will be capable of autosteer operation. The RTK state will remain "Fixed." 
8. If the process fails or system restart time surpasses 15 minutes, move to a new location and restart calibration
