How To Calibrate And Create Flow Templates For The Dji Agras T50 and T25.

In this document we take a look at how to calibrate your Dji Agras T50 or T25 Spreading System and create Flow Templates for the many products you can spread.

Key Steps

  1. Remove Lower Spinner Disk:

    • Use pliers or channel locks to remove the wing nut and drop the spinner disk at the bottom of the spreader to prevent seed slinging during template creation.

  2. Prepare Materials:

    • Have a bucket, box, or tote ready to catch the material being calibrated.

    • Have your product your wanting to spread.

  3. Tank Calibration:

    • Access the settings on the flight page and select "spreader" then "spreader system calibration."

    • Perform the tank calibrations including tear and empty tank calibration to set everything to zero.

  4. Material Management - Generate Flow Rates:

    • Add new material to the system and select the appropriate gate size (large or small).

      • Large gate is installed from factory, view our doc on changing the hopper gate here

    • Dump the material into the spreader and start the calibration process to calibrate flow rates.

    • Ensure to catch the material in a box to avoid wastage.

  5. Repeat for Each Material:

    • Repeat the calibration process for each type of material being spread.

  6. Save Templates:

    • Save the calibration templates for each material to avoid recalibration every time.

  7. Label and Save:

    • Name the seed being calibrated (e.g., Turnip) and save the template settings.

  8. Use in the Field:

    • Access the saved template when going out to spread materials in the field.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure the spinner disk is removed and the material is caught in a box to prevent wastage.

  • Create a template for each type of material to be spread for accurate results.

  • Save calibration templates to avoid repeated calibration for the same material.

Tips for Efficiency

  • Keep all necessary tools and materials ready before starting the calibration process.

  • Follow the step-by-step guide to ensure accurate calibration and flow rate adjustments.

  • Update the spreading system firmware if prompted to ensure all modules are on the same firmware version.
