How To Disable Manual Vertical Obstacle Avoidance on the J100
Objective: To turn off manual vertical obstacle avoidance on the J100 drone to allow landing during manual flight.
Key Steps:
-
Navigate to the home screen and select "Normal."
-
Go to settings and then radar settings.
-
Scroll down to find "Manual V Avoidance" and turn it off.
-
Optionally, set this function to a hotkey for quick access.
-
Select a remote controller button and assign "Manual V Avoid On" and "Manual V Avoid Off" to different undefined buttons.
-
We suggest binding On to L1 and Off to R1 to avoid confusion due to button proximity. Note the second "Manual V Avoid On" is actually the off function.
-
Cautionary Notes:
-
Failure to turn off manual vertical obstacle avoidance may prevent landing during manual flight.
-
Ensure proper selection of buttons for on/off functions to avoid confusion during flight.
Tips for Efficiency:
-
Assign one side of the remote controller for turning manual V avoidance on and the other side for turning it off.
-
Familiarize yourself with the location of the L1 and R1 buttons on the remote controller for easy access during flight.
