Satellite Background Map not loading - HD408 AutoSteer

If your satellite map has not loaded automatically, follow the steps below.

1. If using GNSS or Cellular RTK make sure the system has reached a “Fixed” RTK state before proceeding.
   
   
2. Tap the blue “globe” icon in the upper right corner (See photo reference 1 below). Drive forward a short distance.
   
   
3. If the map does not load after a few seconds, an initial internet connection may be needed. A mobile phone hotspot works well for this process. Connect to the monitor via the Wifi Icon in the upper left hand corner (See photo reference 2 below). 
   
   
4. Tap the blue “globe” icon in the upper right corner. The map should load quickly and reflect your location. You may have to drive forward a short distance for the system to lock onto your location. 

For more consistent satellite map updates without the use of a wifi hotspot, a cellular SIM card can be added by inserting it into the slot on the side of the monitor.
