A step-by-step guide on replacing the CPU fans of the EA Vision J100.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
Preparation
-
Gather necessary tools (screwdriver for 2.5mm and 2mm screws).
-
Ensure you have replacement fans ready.
-
-
Remove the Tank
-
Locate the hoses on each side of the tank.
-
Unscrew the thumb nuts to detach the hoses.
-
Unplug the connection from the tank to the CPU.
-
Push hoses inward if needed to clear the frame rails.
-
Carefully pull the tank out from the top and set it aside.
-
-
Access the CPU Fans
-
Move to the backside of the CPU where the fans are located.
-
Identify the five screws holding the fans in place:
-
Top Screws: Two screws securing the fan to its bracket (2mm).
-
Bottom Screws: Three screws (2.5mm) that need to be removed.
-
-
-
Unplug the Fan
-
After removing all screws, locate the cord connecting the fan to the FPV signal cable.
-
Unplug the fan cord, which may be easier to access from the front of the CPU.
