Importing Boundary Files to J100
A quick walkthrough on how to get boundaries from the computer to J100.
1. Accessing the EA Vision Portal

Navigate to the EA Vision portal

Select the "Apps" section
2. Plot Management
-
Go to "Plot Management"
-
Click on "Batch Upload"
3. Filling Out Required Information

Pilot Name: Enter the pilot name
-
Demand: Ensure a demand is created; otherwise, the process cannot be completed

Crop Shape: Choose the appropriate crop shape (e.g., low, tall trees, vines)

Landform: Contour of the land (e.g., Flat)

Crop Type: Select the crop type (e.g., wheat)
4. Map Options

Choose options for border points:

Dilution Option to reduce the number of border points
-
Do Not Dilute Alternative option for a more detailed map if needed
-
5. Importing the File
-
Import the boundary file
-
Important: Only certain file types are compatible (KML, GeoJSON)
7. Conversion Tool for Shape Files
-
If a SHP file only is obtained, use a conversion tool to convert it to the correct format
8. Confirming the Import
-
Add the file and hit "Confirm"

Verify that the field boundary has been successfully imported
9. Accessing the Imported Data on RC
-
Check the plot screen for the imported boundary
-
If not visible immediately, back out and re-enter to search for it
