Spray Rod Inspection of the DJI Agras T50 Drone

Inspecting the Spray Rod on Agras T50

  1. Checking for Firmness

    • Wiggle the spray rod to ensure it is firmly in place.

    • Note any play between the rubber piece and the spray rod.

  2. Identifying Damage

    • If there is play between the rubber piece and the spray rod, it indicates damage.

    • Damaged spray rods need to be replaced or reseated properly.

  3. Checking the Nut

    • Look for any movement near the nut on the spray rod.

    • Remove the nut and ensure it fully seats back into place.

  4. Proper Seating

    • Align the notch on the spray rod with the notch on the motor for proper seating.

    • Ensure the spray rod fits all the way up into place.

    • Wiggle the spray rod while tightening the nut to ensure it fully seats without early threading.

  5. Maintenance Schedule

    • DJI recommends replacing the spray rod and spray rod fixing nut after 700 flight hours.

    • This inspection and maintenance should be part of the monthly routine.
