      J100-Power Package Update Tutorial.

      This article outlines the steps required to perform a power package update on the J100 drone.

       

      Key Steps

       

      Step 1: Disconnect Internal Battery 0:14

      • Approach the front of the drone.

      • Remove the front cover.

      • Disconnect the internal battery to ensure the update takes effect.

       

      Step 2: Power On the Controller 0:40

      • Power on the controller and wait for it to boot up.

       

      Step 3: Power On the Drone 1:15

      • Power on the drone using the flight battery.

       

      Step 4: Access Update Screen 1:34

      • Wait for the UAV to connect.

      • Navigate to the device screen and select the UAV tab.

       

      Step 5: Initiate Power Upgrade Package 1:50

      • Scroll down to find the 'Power Upgrade Package'.

      • Click the blue 'Update' button.

       

      Step 6: Refresh Update 2:09

      • If prompted, click 'Refresh' to flash the firmware onto the battery.

       

      Step 7: Confirm Update Completion 3:04

      • Wait for the update to complete.

      • The drone should power off automatically.

       

      Step 8: Repeat for Each Battery 3:45

      • Remove the updated battery.

      • Repeat steps 3 to 7 for each additional battery.

       

      Step 9: Finalize Update Process 5:25

      • Ensure all batteries have been updated.

      • If the drone does not turn off automatically, wait a few minutes before powering it down.

      Cautionary Notes

      • Ensure to update each battery individually; failing to do so may lead to battery malfunctions.

      • Do not skip the refresh step for each battery update to ensure proper firmware installation.
