How to Arm & Disarm J100

A Guide to what arming and disarming means, and how to perform Arming and Disarming of the J100 Drone for Takeoff and Landing.

First, let's discuss what (Arming and Disarming) the drone is:

  • Arming the drone is starting the propellers to spin to prepare for takeoff.
  • Disarming the drone signals the propellers to stop spinning after landing.

Arming the Drone

  1. Initial Setup

    • Ensure the drone is ready for operation.

  2. Arming Procedure

    • Push both sticks down and in simultaneously to arm the drone.

Disarming the Drone

  1. After Landing

    • After landing, hold altitude stick (left) all the way down to turn off the props.

  2. If the Drone is Armed but Not Taken Off

    • To disarm, push both sticks down and out at the same time.

    • Important: Timing is crucial to prevent the drone from bucking while disarming.
