      J100 Broadcast No Path

      This article provides the steps and solutions to the J100 Broadcast No Path.

      Causes:

      1. Chemical buildup on the forward radar
      2. Unplanned Obstacle too close to the field boundary
      3. The obstacle is too large for the J100 to fly around.

      Solutions:

      1. Wipe the Forward radar clean with a microfiber towel
      2. Edit your boundary to be larger or smaller
      3. Add the obstacle to the field.

      Conclusion/ Take Aways:

      • It is very important to wipe chemical residue off the forward Lidar after every flight; failure to do so may result in limitation of the obstacle bypassing system and terrain following, which could cause the drone to crash.
      • When the J100 reports no path, it must return to home immediately. If the radar is clean when the drone returns to home, this will usually indicate an issue with field planning.
      • If the J100 is trying to turn and go to the next row, as well as avoid an obstacle, it can get confused. To prevent this, you will need to shrink or expand your border to allow the J100 to more easily find its desired flight path.
      • Changing the shape of your field boundary can be achieved by either moving the entire boundary line or adding an obstacle to the field.
