Conclusion/ Take Aways:
- It is very important to wipe chemical residue off the forward Lidar after every flight; failure to do so may result in limitation of the obstacle bypassing system and terrain following, which could cause the drone to crash.
- When the J100 reports no path, it must return to home immediately. If the radar is clean when the drone returns to home, this will usually indicate an issue with field planning.
- If the J100 is trying to turn and go to the next row, as well as avoid an obstacle, it can get confused. To prevent this, you will need to shrink or expand your border to allow the J100 to more easily find its desired flight path.
- Changing the shape of your field boundary can be achieved by either moving the entire boundary line or adding an obstacle to the field.
