• Tools Needed:

  • Flat head screwdriver

  • Phillips screwdriver

• Materials Needed:

  • Silicone adhesive

Key Steps

Step 1: Access the Arm Locking Handle 0:40

• Open the arm locking handle.

• Locate the rubber cover on the handle.

• Use the flat head screwdriver to pull back the rubber cover to expose the pinhole.

Step 2: Remove the Magnet 1:05

• Insert the screwdriver into the pinhole and apply pressure to push out the magnet from the arm locking handle.

Step 3: Clean and Prepare the Area 1:16

• Clean the area where the magnet was seated to remove any excess silicone.

Step 4: Apply Silicone 1:54

• Pump a small amount of silicone into the spot where the magnet will be reinserted.

Step 5: Reinsert the Magnet 2:03

• Push the magnet back into the silicone-filled spot, allowing excess silicone to escape from the back.

Step 6: Adjust Magnet Position 2:17

• Close the arm locking handle to ensure proper depth.

• Adjust the magnet so it is almost touching the arm.

Step 7: Allow Silicone to Harden 2:42

• Keep the arm locking handle in the locked position and let the silicone harden.

Step 8: Finalize with Additional Silicone 2:56

• Once the silicone has hardened, apply a bead of silicone around the magnet for added structural strength.

Cautionary Notes

• Ensure that the silicone is fully cured before testing the arm lock mechanism.

• Be careful not to damage the rubber cover while pulling it back.
