J100 Flow Meter Replacement

Step 1: Remove Hex Head Screws 0:00

Use a 2.5mm Allen screwdriver.

Carefully remove the hex head screws.
Step 2: Loosen Hose Nuts 0:21

Loosen all four hose nuts.
-
If too tight, use channel locks for assistance.
Step 3: Remove Hoses 0:45
-
Carefully pop off all hoses.
-
Be cautious when removing screws from the flow meter.
Step 4: Understand Screw Threads and Gaskets 1:01

Note that screws thread through into the tank.
-
Ensure small rubber gaskets are present on the back of the flow meter.
Step 5: Prepare to Reattach Screws 1:14

Insert screws through the flow meter with washers on the front side.
Step 6: Secure Screws with Rubber Washers 1:25
-
Place rubber washers on the backside of the screws to hold them in place.
Step 7: Unplug from the Tank 1:37

Unplug the flow meter from the tank.

Optionally, remove the tank for easier access.
Step 8: Reverse the Process 1:45

Reattach all screws to the new flow meter.

Ensure to use washers as previously described.
Step 9: Reattach Hoses and Plug In 2:04

Screw the new flow meter into place.

Reattach all hoses and plug the flow meter back in.
