Encoder Status Abnormality, Front Radar No Data, Front Perception Sensor Timing Error.
Quick Note:
If Lidar is hot it could be overheating and needs to sit and cool down.
Causes:
- Drone needs a complete reboot
- Front Lidar may be overheating
- Drone could be behind on a firmware
- Radar signal cable may be damaged or the cause.
- Front Lidar could be malfunctioning or damaged.
Solutions:
- Restart the aircraft (including internal battery) Click here for video how to do a complete restart
- Feel the Lidar, if it is really hot to the touch it could be overheating. Letting it cool down and then doing a complete restart as solution 1 suggests has resolved lidar errors in some cases.
- Check/refresh firmware (including cpu) Click here for video on updating firmware

- Replace Forward Looking Lidar

- Replace Radar Signal Cable .This cable goes from your lidar to the CPU and could be the cause if it is damaged or not working properly.
Conclusion:
Most commonly the problem stims from the forward looking lidar. This could be the firmware just needs refreshed or the part is damaged.
