      J100 How to change the UAV Serial Number After Replacing the CPU

      This document guides you through steps to reflash your CPU serial number to match your drone frame.

       

      Key Steps

       

      1. Power On Devices 0:31

      • Power on your controller.

      • Power on your drone.

      • Wait for the devices to boot up and connect until you see solid green lights.

       

      2. Note Drone Serial Number 0:58

      • Check the display for the last five digits of your drone's serial number (e.g., 85530).

       

      3. Activate Drone Hotspot 1:07

      • On the controller, navigate to 'Device'.

      • Scroll down to 'UAV'.

      • Select 'Hotspot' and click to turn it on.

       

      4. Connect Phone to Drone Hotspot 1:29

      • On your phone, go to 'Settings' and navigate to 'Wi-Fi'.

      • Look for the drone's hotspot (UAV followed by the last five digits).

      • Connect to the hotspot.

       

      5. Access Drone Interface 1:55

      • Open your internet browser.

      • Input the following URL: 10.42.0.1:8888/#/drone

       

      6. Change Serial Number 2:19

      • In the interface, locate the second bar displaying the last five digits of your drone's serial number.

      • Change these digits to match your drone's serial number (e.g., 87979).

      • Click the save button (Chinese characters) and confirm with the green check mark.

      7. Power Down Drone 3:10

      • Power down your drone.

       

      8. Disconnect CPU Power 3:20

      • Remove the internal power plug on your CPU (Cable is labeled "201-S- BAT").

      • Wait a few seconds, then reconnect the the internal power plug.

       

      9. Restart Drone and App 3:44

      • Power the drone back up.

      • Force quit the drone application by swiping down from the top of the screen and closing the app.

       

      10. Relaunch Drone App 4:11

      • Open the drone app again and allow it to boot up.

       

      11. Verify Serial Number Change 5:17

      • Check the app to ensure the serial number now displays the correct digits (e.g., 87979).

      Cautionary Notes

      • Ensure that the serial number entered matches the drone's serial number exactly to avoid connectivity issues.

      • Always power down devices before making hardware changes.
