This article outlines the steps to safely and efficiently replace the propellers on the J100

How to replace your propellers video

Tools you'll need 5mm hex bit

Steps:

1. Identify if you are removing a Clock Wise (CW) Propeller, or a Counter Clock Wise (CCW) Propeller. 

2. Remove the two screws circled below in the picture.

3. With screws out remove top bracket holding propellers in place by lifting up.

4. Remove top prop gaskets show in picture below.

5. Check Prop gasket for wear.

6. Remove Propeller that is being replaced by sliding up.

7.  Check bottom prop gasket for wear.

Now to Install the new propeller.

1. Ensure bottom prop gasket is placed before putting propeller on

2. Slide on new propeller ensuring it is the correct (CW) or (CCW) depending on which one you are replacing.

3. Place top prop gasket back in position on top of propeller.

4. Place top bracket down back on top of propellers

5. Place some blue Loctite on the 2 screws before inserting.

6. Tighten down 2 screw's, ensure the propellers can still move easily but not so lose that they can move without a little pressure.
