J100 Inconsistent BMS Voltage
Inconsistent BMS Voltage readings can cause Battery Low Voltage errors, which trigger the drone to return to home.
Causes:
- BMS Voltage and Co-Controller Voltage need alignment
- Damage or Corrosion to Drone PCBA terminals
- Damage or Corrosion to Battery Terminals
Solutions:
- Align BMS and Co-Controller Voltage
- Replace PCBA Terminal on Drone
- Have an Agri Spray Drones authorized Dealer replace the Top board on your Battery
Conclusion:
The first step in diagnosing inconsistent BMS voltage is to try aligning the BMS and Co-Controller Voltage on the remote. Instructions on how to preform the alignment can be found here:
If the problem persists after completing the alignment we must determine if the issue is specific to one battery or if it is happening with every battery put in the drone. If the error occurs with multiple batteries this issue is most likely being caused be a damaged or corroded PCBA terminal on the Drone. First look for corrosion or wear to the PCBA terminals, if corrosion is present clean terminals with contact cleaner or alcohol. If cleaning the boards does not work, it is the recommend to replace the boards one at a time, the issue may only be with one of the two boards.
IF the issue seems to only be happing with one battery it is likely that the issue is within the battery itself. If this is the case you can take your battery to any Agri Spray Drones Authorized dealer to repair the battery.
