Installation of 4-Nozzle Spray Kit on EA Vision J100

Key Steps

 

Step 1: Check for Bracket Installation 0:00

  • Ensure the bracket is installed on the arm of the drone.

  • If not installed, remove the motor, foam cover, ESC, ESC bracket, and motor bracket to attach the bracket.

 

Step 2: Install the Boot 0:32

  • Attach the boot with the hole facing towards the drone.

Step 3: Secure the Boot 0:48

  • Use four 3mm bolts (without necks) to secure the boot in each corner.

  • Tighten bolts to a semi-snug fit.

 

Step 4: Connect Main Cable 1:48

  • Use the end of the main cable with only two plugs.

  • Feed the main plug through the hole and leave the small plug outside.

Step 5: Install Sprayer 2:05

  • Plug in the sprayer and hold it in place.

  • Use four 3mm bolts (with necks) to secure the sprayer, starting with one bolt to hold it in place.

Step 6: Position Spray Solenoid 3:23

  • Plug in the Solenoid.

  • Ensure the wire is above the solenoid and not in the way.

  • Secure solenoid in boot it using four 2.5mm bolts.

 

Step 7: Connect Hose 5:43

  • Attach the main hose to the solenoid and the main T-point.

  • Ensure the hose is on the backside of the arm.

 

Step 8: Disconnect Battery Terminals and Connecting Wires 7:12

Quick Note: the Arm cables for the M3 rear left have a short red, and long black.

the Arm cables on the M4 rear right have have a short black and long red. Ensure you use the correct Arm cables on the correct arm of the drone.

  • Remove the back cover of the drone
  • Unscrew both PCBA Terminals

  • On the underside of the battery terminal, on the side the nozzle is being installed. Remove the terminal bolt closest to the tank.

  • Connect the short wire (red) on the M3 arm cable to the back of this terminal bolt just removed, Tighten back down and re attach the the PCBA terminal board.
  • On the underside of the battery terminal, on the side the nozzle is NOT being installed. Remove the terminal bolt furthest from the tank.

  • Connect the long wire (Black) on the M3 arm cable to the back of this terminal bolt just removed, tighten back down and re attach the PCBA Terminal board.

 

Step 9: Plug in Second Sprayer 11:32

  • Unplug the middle plug and connect the second sprayer's wire.

    1. Locate middle plug

    2. Ensure it says the correct ARM on the tag, (M3 is Rear Left), (M4 is Rear Right)

    3. Disconnect from 1 and connect to 2 in picture.

    4. Connect remaining plug to plug 1 in picture above.
    5. Clip connected plug back into middle spot. (should look like picture below.)

    6. With the remaining connected plug zip tie (not to tight) to top and middle plugs connected.
    Should look like picture below. Zip tie where arrows are.

Step 10: Secure Wires 12:42

  • Use zip ties to secure the wires in place, ensuring they are centered and facing out.

  • Tape the wires from the solenoid to ensure they are protected

 

Step 11: Finalize Installation 15:52

  • Zip tie the hose and power line to the arm, ensuring it does not interfere with the locking handle.

  • Snip off any excess zip ties and ensure all components are secure.

Cautionary Notes

  • Ensure that all connections are secure to prevent leaks or electrical issues.

  • Double-check the orientation of wires and components to avoid damage during operation.
