      J100 Remote Controller Log in Failure Due to "Time Deviation" (How to Fix)

      This article outlines the steps to correct the date and time settings on a remote controller of the J100 to resolve "time deviation" not allowing you to log in issue.

       

      If you are having an issue when you try to log in where it says "current time deviation for the remote controller is too large. Please adjust time and try again"

      Adjusting Date and Time Settings on Remote Device

      Key Steps

      Step 1: Access Settings 0:00

      • Swipe up from the bottom of the main screen press the circle

      • View main screen and locate and select the 'Settings' option.

       

      Step 2: Navigate to Date and Time Settings 0:08

      • Scroll down in the settings menu.

      • Find and select 'System' to access system settings.

       

      Step 3: Check Current Date and Time 0:23

      • Look for the 'Date and Time' settings.

      • Verify if the date is correct and check if the time is significantly off.

       

      Step 4: Adjust Date and Time 0:42

      • Uncheck the 'Set Automatically' option.

      • Manually select the correct date.

      • Manually set the correct time.

       

      Step 5: Re-enable Automatic Settings 0:42

      • After setting the correct date and time, recheck the 'Set Automatically' option.

       

      Step 6: Log Back into the App 0:42

      • Exit the settings and return to the app.

      • Log in to ensure the issue is resolved.

      • Ensure that the time zone is set correctly before adjusting the time.

      • Double-check the date and time after making adjustments to avoid future issues.
