This article outlines the steps to take in troubleshooting the J100 if getting the following Take Off Notice: Safety Notice, Arm lock unfastened detected.
If getting the Takeoff Notice, Safety Notice: Arm lock unfastened detected. Please check carefully. Then follow the steps below.
(As shown in the picture below.)
Steps:
- First, physically inspect that all the arm locks are securely fastened.
(If they are not, then fasten them securely.)

Click Here for How to Do a Full Restart Article - If the issue persists after a full restart, it may be a sensor issue. Go to flight settings in your RC, and it should show which arm or sensor is showing as not locked. This way, you know which of the 4 sensors is the issue.
- Once the sensor has been identified, that sensor might not be detecting the magnet. Pushing the magnet out of the arm handle can help.
Click Here for (Adjusting Magnet) How to Fix the Arm Locking Sensor Article. - Perform a full restart. If the issue persists, then check the wires on the harness of the affected arm. Ensure no damage or wires getting pinched.
- If you are still having the issue, then most likely it is the wiring harness of the affected arm. Replacing the wiring harness should resolve the issue.
