How to Adjust Arm Lock Tension on the EAVJ150

 

 

1. Identify the problem with the arm lock handle 0:02

  • This walkthrough shows how to properly adjust the arm lock tension on the EAVJ150.
  • Start by checking how the arm lock handle closes.
  • If you have to use extreme force to close it, the tension is too tight.
  • Excessive force can damage:
    • the bolt,
    • the arm,
    • or the rod inside the assembly.

 

2. Tighten the shaft into the dowel using a 6 mm wrench 0:27

  • Use a 6 mm wrench to tighten the shaft further into the dowel on the arm lock handle.
  • Turn it a couple of rotations to increase the tension adjustment.
  • After tightening, test the handle again to see if the closing force has improved.
