Creating an account and activating your SIM card Plan on ASD Portal.
Key Steps :

- Press ‘Sign up’ to create an account.
- Enter information and select 'Sign Up' to create an account.
2. Press the green ‘Claim Your Device’ button.
3. Input the last 5 digits of the serial number on the card into the ‘Serial’ box
(do not include “F” or any letters).
4. Select the ASD Free plan to activate your free 1 year trial subscription.
- Free plan is 6 GB/month - additional data can be purchased on the portal if this limit is reached.
5. Input all of your billing details.
- Invoices, usage notifications, and other plan updates will be sent to your account email.
6. Confirm your plan and information, and select 'Submit' checkout.
7. Click the ‘Devices’ tab near the top left corner to view your activated card.
8. Select the ‘Pencil’ icon to name your device.
(This will help you distinguish between different cards and plans if you have multiple drones.)
9. Name your device as follows, based on device: “Your Name J150 CTRL or “Your Name J150 Drone”.
- The same applies to naming for a J70
Navigating the portal
- Click the ‘Subscriptions’ tab at the top of the screen to view your current plans and subscriptions.
- Select the ‘Billing History’ tab to view invoices and past bills.
SIM Card Installation and Activation for J150 Controller

Key Steps
1. Prepare the SIM Card 0:00
- Locate the SIM card received in your package.
- Note down the ICCID serial number at the bottom of the card.
- Take a picture of the SIM card for submission on the customer onboarding form.
2. Insert the SIM Card 1:05
- Break out the smallest SIM card size from the package.
- Open the controller and locate the SIM slot.
- Insert the SIM card into the slot.
3. Power On the Controller 1:19
- Turn on the J150 controller and wait for it to boot up.
4. Access Settings Menu 1:35
- Click on the Settings button (blue gear icon) near the bottom of your RC screen.
- Scroll down to 'System' and select 'Language & input'.
- Click ‘On-Screen Keyboard' and select 'Gboard'.
- Remove any unnecessary languages, leaving only English.
6. Connect to Wi-Fi 2:19
- Navigate to 'Network & Internet'.
- Ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi before proceeding.
7. Configure Mobile Network 2:31
- Click on 'Mobile Network'.
- Scroll down to 'Access Point Names'.
8. Add New Access Point Name (APN) 2:57
- Click the ‘+’ icon to add a new APN.
- Name the APN (e.g., 'ASD').
- In the APN field, enter 'iot.cc'.
- Click 'OK'.
9. Save APN Settings 3:54
- Click the 3 dots in the upper right hand corner
- Click “save”
- Your sim will now be linked to T-Mobile
10. Test Mobile Network Connection 4:12
- Turn off Wi-Fi.
- Check for 'LTE' indicator next to the data connection bar.
- Open Chrome to verify internet connectivity without Wi-Fi.
