      J150 Replace / Install the FPV Camera

      This article outlines the step-by-step process for replacing the FPV camera on the J150 to ensure accuracy and efficiency in J150 repairs or troubleshooting.

      J150 Replacing Top Radar, LIDAR, and FPV Camera Video

      Removing FPV Camera Steps 

       

      Step 1: Remove the FPV Camera 4:12

      • Locate the FPV camera underneath the unit, in between the two LED Lights on the front of the drone.

        (Picture shown below)

      • (IF your FPV has a bracket) Remove the four 2.5 mm hex head screws holding the camera bracket, and slide the FPV Camera off the drone.

      • (IF your FPV does NOT have a bracket) Remove the four 2.5 mm hex head screws holding the FPV Camera, and slide the FPV Camera off the drone.

       

      Step 2: Disconnect FPV Camera Cables 5:17

      • There will be two cables connected to the back of the FPV Camera: 1. The 'LED' Cable, 2. The FPV cable, which is the Perception line and connects to the CPU and the Lidar.

      • Disconnect both connectors from the back of the FPV Camera.

       

      You have successfully removed the FPV Camera.

       

      Installing the FPV Camera Steps

      If you do not have the FPV bracket, continue with the steps below.

      Step 1: Connect the FPV

      • Reconnect the FPV cable and LED connector to the back of the FPV Camera.

      Step 2: Install the FPV back into the drone

      • Slide the new FPV camera back into its position on the drone, lining up the screw holes on the side.
      • Using the previously removed four 2.5 mm hex head screws, put the screws in the correct location and tighten the screws to secure the FPV Camera back into position on the drone.

       

      The FPV Camera is now installed.
