J150/J70 Upgrade Center

This article outlines the steps to upgrade the firmware of the J70 or J150 drones using the Upgrade Center, ensuring all components are updated correctly.

 

 

Drone Firmware Upgrade Procedure from the Upgrade Center

Key Steps:

Access the Upgrade Center 

  • On the start screen, click the green upgrade button to open the Upgrade Center.

  • It is very important to only update one at a time so if multiple items are checked, unselect them to only have one item selected to upgrade at a time.

    (Multiple selected has caused the upgrade not going through fully or taking a great length of time for the upgrade to become completed.)

  • Once proper item is selected, click 'upgrade all' to start the firmware upgrade for what you have selected.

  • Once complete it will say 'refresh' in the upgrade center under the item you upgraded.
  • Now you can select the next item to upgrade by checking it and repeating the process.

 

Upgrading From Device Menu:

Upgrade Spray, Radar and Motor Packages 

  • From the home screen, select 'Device'

  • Select 'Firmware Version'

 

  • Select 'upgrade' next to the desired item you wish to upgrade. Spray, Radar, Motor, etc...

  • Ensure you select the most recent versions.

Upgrade App Version

  • Select 'Device'

  • Scroll down and select 'APP' on the side

  • Click the green upgrade button to upgrade your app version.

  • When the firmware list comes up ensure you select the most recent version.

 

Upgrade CPU Firmware 

  • Select 'Device'

  • Scroll down and select 'CPU' on the side

  • Click the 'upgrade' button to upgrade the CPU firmware.

  • When the firmware list comes up ensure you select the most recent version.

 

Confirm All Upgrades 

  • Go back to UAV and then to module info to check firmware versions.
