Landing Gear Inspection for the DJI Agras T50 Drone

Inspecting T50 Landing Gear

  1. Initial Checks

    • Shake the drone to ensure it is level.

    • Inspect aluminum tubes for dents, dings, or damage.

  2. Checking Y-Tee Parts

    • Ensure parts are not cracked, damaged, or out of place.

    • Verify that the crossbeam is level.

  3. Radar Alignment

    • Ensure the radar is perpendicular to the ground.

    • Misalignment can cause terrain following and obstacle avoidance issues.

  4. Additional Checks

    • Inspect the crossbeam for damage and cracks.

    • Verify radar alignment on both ends.

  5. Fixing Pieces Inspection

    • Check for cracks in fixing pieces.

    • Ensure proper attachment to the frame.

  6. Final Verification

    • Lightly push up and down on the drone to check for play or movement in the landing gear.

    • Repeat the check on each side.

  7. Replacement Period

    • The replacement period for T50 landing gear is 700 hours of flight.
