Drone Prop Inspection Process

Cleaning Props

Wipe off all props to remove excess chemicals.

Clean every prop on the drone.

Verification of Correct Props

Check that props are mounted correctly.

Ensure upper and lower props on each arm are in the correct position (e.g., upper counterclockwise, lower clockwise).

Double-check this for every arm on the drone.

Physical Inspection for Damage

Inspect each prop for chips, cracks, or damage.

Look for anything that could cause abnormal vibration.

Check every prop on the aircraft.

Checking for Warping
-
Overlap props to check for bending.
-
If one prop is significantly bent, replace both props on that motor.

Check for warps by aligning props parallel to the ground.
-
Replace props if there is any noticeable bending or warping.

Maintenance Schedule
-
DJI recommends replacing props every 700 flight hours.

This is part of the daily maintenance.
