Drone Prop Inspection Process

1. Cleaning Props

   • Wipe off all props to remove excess chemicals.

   • Clean every prop on the drone.

2. Verification of Correct Props

   • Check that props are mounted correctly.

   • Ensure upper and lower props on each arm are in the correct position (e.g., upper counterclockwise, lower clockwise).

   • Double-check this for every arm on the drone.

3. Physical Inspection for Damage

   • Inspect each prop for chips, cracks, or damage.

   • Look for anything that could cause abnormal vibration.

   • Check every prop on the aircraft.

4. Checking for Warping

   • Overlap props to check for bending.

   • If one prop is significantly bent, replace both props on that motor.

   • Check for warps by aligning props parallel to the ground.

   • Replace props if there is any noticeable bending or warping.

5. Maintenance Schedule

   • DJI recommends replacing props every 700 flight hours.

   • This is part of the daily maintenance.
