SDR Antenna Inspection of the DJI Agras T50 Drone

Inspecting the SDR Antenna on T50 Aircraft

  1. Connecting the SDR Antenna

    • Connect the pink cables labeled SDR antennas from the RF module to the blue cables on the aircraft.

    • One cable has a black plug, the other has a white plug.

    • Match the white plug with the white connection and the black plug with the black connection.

    • Tighten the connections by hand and then give them an extra eighth of a turn using pliers.

  2. Routing the Cables

    • Long cables from the RF module go to the opposite side of the aircraft.

    • Short cables go to the closer side of the RF module.

  3. Physical Inspection of SDR Antennas and Cables

    • Inspect the SDR antennas and cables for any damage.

    • Ensure antennas fit back properly, cables are in good shape, and have not been pulled, stretched, bent, or kinked.

    • Check the cable connection to the frame.

  4. Maintenance Recommendation

    • Replace SDR antennas every 700 flight hours.

    • This is part of the monthly inspection process.
