Motor Inspection for the DJI Agras T50 Drone
Inspecting the Motor on Agras T50 Drone

Purpose: Monthly inspection to ensure the motor is in good condition.

Check Props:

Fold out props.
-
Lift and push down alternately to check for any unusual sounds indicating bearing issues.

Remove Props:

Check circlip that holds the top of the motor.

Replace if circlip is damaged.

Spin the motor to ensure it moves freely without grinding or hard spots.

Inspect Ring at the Bottom:

Thicker ring on T50 compared to T40.

Check for damage, warping, or cracks.
-
Ring carries voltage and directs airflow for cooling the coils.

Damaged ring can lead to motor failure.

Check Cable and Plug:

Inspect cable for damage.

Check plug and ensure it is secure.

Maintenance Recommendation:

DJI recommends replacing motors every 700 flight hours.
