Overview of EAVison Field properties
This article explains the different properties you can assign to a field boundary on the EAVision J100 Remote
Landform:
This is where you designate the slope type of your field. There are three options to choose from:
- Flat Field
- This mode is designed for use in fields with a grade of 0-5 degrees
- In this mode max allowable flight speed is 50.5 ft/s
- Max Flight speed with obstacle bypassing is 32.8 ft/s
- Gentle Slope
- This mode is designed for use in fields with a grade of 5-25 degrees
- In this mode the max allowable flight speed is 32.8 ft/s
- Max flight speed with obstacle avoidance is 23 ft/s
- Steep Slope
- This mode is designed for use in fields with a grade that is greater than 25 degrees
- In this mode the max allowable flight speed is 23 ft/s
- Max flight speed with obstacle bypassing is 16 ft/s
Power lines
This setting is asking if there are power lines in the field. When yes is selected flight speed is limited in order to give the drone more time to react to obstacles. In all operations with power lines you should be planning your flight routes to be perpendicular with the wires.
AB mode
When yes is selected, you can plan your field based off am AB line instead of a field boundary.
Crop Type:
This setting will not change how the drone flies in any way, it is used solely for record keeping.
HD Map:
This feature can be used to add updated imagery to your maps.
