Objective

This SOP outlines the steps for safely removing and replacing the propellers on the 6K drone.

Key Steps

 

Step 1: Identify Damaged Propeller 0:06

  • Inspect the drone for any damaged propellers.

  • Confirm that the drone model is the 6K, as the propeller attachment method is consistent across similar models.

 

Step 2: Locate Lock/Unlock Symbol 0:22

  • Find the lock/unlock symbol on the propeller attachment.

  • This symbol indicates the direction to twist for removal.

 

Step 3: Prepare for Removal 0:31

  • Position your phone or camera for visibility if needed.

  • Ensure you have a clear workspace.

 

Step 4: Remove the Propeller 0:51

  • Push down on the propeller to engage the spring mechanism.

  • Twist the propeller counterclockwise to unlock it.

  • Pull the propeller upwards to remove it.

 

Step 5: Inspect for Damage 1:08

  • Note that damage can occur from landing on uneven surfaces.
