T40 Dual RTK Antennas Not Ready
How to fix dual RTK antennas not ready error in T40.
Causes:
- The RTK compass for the RTK system does not properly boot up during power up.
- Bad/Damaged RTK Antenna
- Magnetic interference in the area
- Check proximity to powerlines
- Check proximity to large metal objects
- Spreading Tank Installed:
- With the spreader installed it is best to allow the drone to power on fully prior to filling up the spreader tank with product.
- Sometimes the product in the tank messes with the start up of RTK system
- With the spreader installed it is best to allow the drone to power on fully prior to filling up the spreader tank with product.
Resolutions:
- Verify all connections are secure
- Check RTK antenna connection to RTK Coaxial cable in the rear of the drone
- Check your RTK antenna connections to the RF board in the front of the drone
- Method 1
- Select “Begin”
- Select “settings” in top right
- Select “RTK”
- Turn RTK source to “D-RTK Base Station”
- Exit settings
- Select “settings” in top right
- Select “RTK”
- Turn RTK source to “None”
- Exit settings
- Method 2
- Try to rotate drone around 180 degrees
- Power off drone
- Power drone back on
- Method 3
- Replace one or both of your RTK antennas on the drone
- If problem persists replace the following in this order, RF Board, Cable Distribution Module, Avionics Module (Aerial Electronics Module), RTK Coaxial cable in frame.
